Massage comes in different styles:

  • Swedish is soft and relaxing and involves long, slow and relatively light strokes.  It bring blood back to the skin surface thereby improving circulation

  • Remedial massage normally involves harder strokes aimed at improving circulation to the underlying and deeper muscles.  This massage may involve stretches but does not manipulate the spine

  • Sports massage is designed mainly for warm up and warm down and can involve stretching and other special releases.

  • Myofacial Release involves holding the muscles in a special way in order to gently coerce them into releasing

  • Lymphatic Drainage works on the lymphatic system around the face, arms, legs and torso and involves very light short strokes of these areas

  • Aromatherapy is a set combination of massage movements using essential oils mixed specifically for you. It mixes Swedish, Lymphatic and Remedial type strokes into the massage. This massage can be from 1-1/5hrs

  • Chinese Massage is a more vigorous style of massage using hands and elbows

  • Indian Head Neck and Shoulder
