The homeopath will ask you about your
current symptoms, past medical history, and general questions about your
health. They may then ask questions about how you feel about certain
things within your life, what was happening around the time you got sick and
how you coped with these events. The answers to these questions are
used to find a remedy specifically for you called your "constitutional"
remedy. This remedy when achieved should start to change the triggers
for illness within you. These remedies are difficult to find and may
take several visits to get it right. Once the correct constitutional
has been determined however, miracles happen!
A consultation takes from one to one
and a half hours where you will be talking most of the time. The
homeopath then analyses the information you have provided which could take a
few minutes to a few days. You will then be phoned and a remedy posted
out or made available for you to pick up. Detailed instructions are
provided with the remedy and the homeopath will be available between certain
times if you have any further questions.
A follow-up consultation will be booked
for a few weeks after the first consultation to determine the correctness of
the remedy. From there on consultations are once every 4-8 weeks until
you are well.
