This course is suitable for anyone requiring a CPR certificate, especially relevant for employment opportunities such as Police, childcare, nursing for the elderly, teachers, workplace first aid, fitness instructors, physiotherapists, airline hosts and other healthcare professionals.

Course details

Purpose: Gain the confidence to deal with an adult or child casualty when CPR is required.

Course Format: 2 hours face-to-face training following completion of a workbook prior to attending the practical first aid session.

Assessment: Distance learning workbook, practical continuous assessments during face-to-face and a short theory exam.

Qualification issued: Statement of attainment - Peform CPR HLTCPR201B in Partial Completion of HLT21107 Certificate II in Emergency Medical Service First Response .

Certification: A4 display certificate plus a wallet card

Pre-requisites: None - no age requirements

Standards: The course complies with policy advice from the Australian Resuscitation Council
